End of Year Thoughts - SAYONARA COMUPTING FDSC 2010/2011

This year ended too fast for my liking...... purely because its been the best academic year of my life....coming into the course I was not a very good student academically, but i can now reflect back on the year and be pleased with what i have achieved in terms of assignment marks and hopefully fingers crossed exams.....Revision has been going great so far, although i jus had information systems development 1 exam and felt i have done extremely poor, for some reason i went completely blank.....OMG WHAT HAPPENED!!!! only time will tell wen i see the results how bad i've done... apart from that exam the two previous exams could not have gone better....3 down 2 more to go.

In terms of the course (sorry abt the useless blabber in paragraph 1), everything has gone smoothly, although i feel i could have done better in the data modelling and databases assingment. Also through the mad rush of revising few weeks b4 exams, i have also learnt that committing to a university degree, you need to revise throughout the year what you have been taught, to achieve the best end year results.

Work Placement this year would not have been possible if it wasn't for Dee's help and I am indebt to her for it. Thank you so much Dee, because of you I was able to not only get a work placement but also get a work placement with an amazing teacher, who i have learnt many valuable skills from. due to this work placement i believe, I have a better chance of recieving a work placement for my future work placement in a primary school, which i am still pursuing despite failing to achieve it in this academic year. Before the summer holiday starts, i will be pestering as many local primary schools as i can, in order to pass the CRB test, so i can start a placement as early as i can for year 2.

Year 2, I am expecting more from myself in terms of commitment, quality of work and revision. I want to be notch it up a level and be even more proud of myself this time next year than i am right now. Sayonara 2010/2011...... AND Bring on 2011/2012

Few alterations and the good assignment results has decreased the threats and the weaknesses I had at the start of the year. My strengths have also increased due to the hard work I have put in to the course.

End Of Year - Learning Style Quiz and VARK Questionnaire Results

Same old, same old in terms of result, however due to these results I have slightly altered my revision techniques to make it more effective.... E.g. Introduction of Flash Cards and highlighters :D
